Itachi's novel is starting to be translated, here's the first section on tumblr:

Some interesting nuggets. It looks like Itachi already saw the flaws in the Uchiha clan leadership at the age of 4. And correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like he also woke his Sharingan at the age of 4 when he saw the battlefield with his father.

I like the info given on Fugaku, nice insight into the slights the Uchiha recieved - especially pre-Kyubi.

But yeah, Kakashi earning that title "of the Sharingan", worse yet wasn't it "Hero of the Sharingan"?.. heh it's like poking a rattlesnake with a short, tiny little stick.
No wonder they were pisssed.

... I'd be pissed.

Curious about Fugaku's skill on the battlefield now.

So he had the mentality of a Hokage when he was 7, at the age of 4 he realized the flaws in the Uchiha's leadership, what's next? His first words as an infant were ''E=mc²''?

Jesus, Itachi...

To be honest, it's not out the realms of being possible - heard a 12 year old girl surpassed Einstein and Stephen Hawking in the Mensa IQ test.
Go figure.

"Shinobis cannot save the world. They call certain methods of fighting good and others evil, acting as if there were some nobility to the battlefield. Such illusions, perpetrated by heroes throughout history, have led countless young men to their bloody deaths, all for the sake of this valor and glory.

There’s no hope on the battlefield. It has nothing but unspeakable despair. Just a crime we call victory, paid for by the pain of the defeated. Yet humanity has never recognized this truth. And the reason for that is, in every era, a dazzling hero has blinded people with their legends and prevented them from seeing the evil of bloodshed. The true nature of humanity has not advanced a step beyond the Stone Age.

Even if I am to carry all the evils of this world, it won't matter. If that can save the world, then I'd gladly accept it."

Is that it or just the first chapter? Anyway it's great. I like the info that Itachi's father wasn't s weakling and deserve a lot more credit than most.. Damn elders..

Just the first section of the first chapter. Should be plenty more to come. There's also a 2nd Itachi novel (only character getting 2 books, for some reason) being released early October, so there'll be even more down the line.
