Face it. Every fight Itachi has every been in, the opponent or himself has remarked on how Itachi's health was failing. If he had a "prime" it was in his childhood. So everyone saying "prime" Itachi solos, most ninja you're pairing him with could beat kid Itachi. Lol

• Although he won those fights mostly, if they had dragged on or there were reinforcements, he would have perished.
• Itachi is more of a 1v1 guy. Genjutsu against one person will gurantee him a win. Along with Susanno and all his magix stuff.

But against more ninja, Itachi would fail. Constant use of each technique on each opponent, will surely kill him before they do. Ninja like Minato take the cake for this combat, as he takes out an army in the blink of an eye without a scratch.

Sasuke saw coughing but thought it was susanno

Every fight, someone has remarked on Itachis failing health, no matter what reason. I'm also not just talking about sickness, but overuse of the sharingan which was stated by Sasuke, Kakashi, and Zetsu.

Susanoo takes wayyy more chakra than tsukuyomi.

Susanoo drains chakra and pulls from the users life force. That's double the weight when using susanoo.
