Just clearing this up. The reason Gai didn't kill Kisame is because Gai was trying to take Kisame alive due to orders given by the Hokage (Tsunade). He could have killed Kisame if he wanted to, but they can't "infiltrate" his subconscious and gain information if he is dead. Opinions?
