OT: no. Itachi one shots minato with tysukuyomi, his fans will say minato isn't dum enough to look into his eyes but orochimaru and jiriaya both made eye contact with itachi. Minato also made eye contact with obito during the kurama attack on the leaf.

Ill provide scans of all my claims if any minato fan dears to ask me.

Ummm, he closes his eyes to begin tysukuyomi, and when he re-opens his eye's he finds he head is no longer attached to his body?

They're not equals, Minato is greater. We know everything about Itachi and his limits and there's still unexplored ground on Minato's end. Granted we know Minato's overall level of strength is below the likes of Sage Mode Naruto, even Pain Rikudou. However we know his skill allows him to fight on at least the level of Sage Naruto, with what we know- but as I said there's tons of things we don't know like 'that jutsu'.

Logically Itachi is weaker seeing as his cards are all known and he was never put above people like Nagato when we learnt his final card (Izanami). However I don't expect Minato to go above Nagato level, but he will doubtlessly exceed Itachi's level seeing as there's more to show and he's already comparable to Itachi with what little he has shown already.
