Itachi may have knew about Hashi & Madaraa friendship**
As we've all heard time and time again...History repeats itself continually.
In our lives we see it daily....de ja vue...etc
But its a clear sign of the series outcome..
Naruto will battle Sasuke.
As did Itachi battled his clan
As did Hashirama battled Madaraa
This is just an opinion but....I see it as so.....The manga states
Itachi was fascinated with the village.
Everything he could learn about the village of Konoha astounded and inspired Itachi to be a greater and greater ninja.
You think he didn't know who started the leaf village?
Or what had happened?
I mean PEOPLE..we just SAW the VALLEY OF THE END carved out infront of us via a Hashi flash back.
Hard not to notice the valley of the end either..I mean hell...its name and the people carved in it is a dead give away of
A) Who fought there
B) Why its named that
C) Its importance to village history **Which Itachi was said to love***
and
D) Two key ninja in Konoha history
Hiruzen was kage during Itachi's time in konoha.
With Itachi's fascination, its clear Hiruzen
(being the student of Tobirama Senju**For you dumb asses the reason Hiruzen knows**)
may have brought it up around Itachi at a root meeting or while Itachi eavesdropped behind a closed door.
(Or what have you)
Hell ....He could have just asked about the Valley of the end and gain enough info to know about the friendship between Madaraa and Hashirama. And why Hashi killed Madaraa
The coup was set
Itachi knew what had to be done like the for father before him.
Thus the Uchiha Massacre
