I dont think it was necessary for Itachi to be taught from Obito. Noone had to teach Sasuke about his MS and the same would be about Shisui, so i dont aggree here with you.

But Itachi read the Uchiha tablet and probably knew most of the MS techniques that Madara had, but Madara never had Kamui... So there is a possibility that Itachi must had figured out that Tobi isn't Madara but someone else, who is using Madara's name in disguise(considering Itachi's intelligence)...

The tablet probably says that those who awaken MS in both eyes can awaken the third power Susanoo.... I don't think it mentions the exact names of Tsukuyumi or Amaterasu.... So Itachi might have not doubted Obito if he used Kamui in front of Itachi.... Also I think Shisui was the one who told Itachi of Madara's (Obito) existence.... I had made this Thread on it.... The thing is, your whole thesis is based on Obito potentially showing his Kamui to Itachi. But neither do we have any evidence he did that, nor would it make any sense for Obito to do that. So...
