Itachi knew that Tobi wasn't Madara??

This thing popped in my mind, when I was discussing Sakura and Kakashi vs Itachi in this thread->

Now why I think so,because Obito was the one who met Itachi before Uchiha clan massacre and helped him in doing massacre, we all know that Itachi awakened MS when Shisui died, this happened before few days of Uchiha clan massacre, so Itachi wasn't able to master MS without the help of Obito that much early to the level he could have killed an entire clan, seen in this chapter...

During this duration Obito/Tobi was training him, preparing him for massacre and hence Itachi called him his teacher and accomplice here,

So in short during this duration Itachi was taught by Obito regarding secrets of MS and various MS techniques, so there is a possibility that Obito displayed him Kamui....And this was the reason Itachi observed Tobi's eyes and created special type of amaterasu, a jutsu which activates when Obito makes eye contact Sasuke's eyes and implanted it in Sasuke's eyes before dying, as he never wanted his brother to betray Konoha and he was suspicious about Tobi..

But Itachi read the Uchiha tablet and probably knew most of the MS techniques that Madara had, but Madara never had Kamui... So there is a possibility that Itachi must had figured out that Tobi isn't Madara but someone else, who is using Madara's name in disguise(considering Itachi's intelligence)...

It isn't theory, it is a speculation, I don't have enough evidence to prove this, but think about it, it could have been damn interesting if Itachi knew Tobi wasn't Madara..:yeah:

Itachi thought he was madara.. just like everybody else. Obito played he's role so well under control of old hag madara. Even minato hes old sensei didnt notice that he is actually obito and not madara.

You can clearly see Itachi call him Madara on one of those manga pages, so to me that just proves your whole speculation is wrong. A bummer though, looks to me like you really put some effort into this...

No it wasn't theory it was just a thought so not much efforts..=D And ya he called him Madara because he never wanted Sasuke get involve in this fuss...:yeah:

he meant mentor
