Now explain to me what you get from my thread. What you just said is pretty stupid. And judging from your ignorance you are an idiot.

I get that it's a pointless thread because people are showing preference towards a character due to their unique personality and tastes.
Trying to explain why and how a character acted to change their opinions is meaningless because nobody is willing to change his personality or taste because you said so.
Making a thread to defend/deprecate a character is a waste of thread.Cause at the end it's only results in flame wars and certainly nobody learns anything.
You also resort to insults because I disagree with the whole concept of this thread which only leads me to confirm what I was suspecting from the start:that thread doesn't have a good point,or no point at all.

The guy's no hero. What is this base on? Throw away your drugs, please. He had Shisui's KA and could have employed that to change the mind of the Daiyamo and meet the just demands of an oppressed clan. In lieu of choosing a decent course of action he slaughtered all those people - including civilian people and innocent children - as well, who were only aware of the clan's coup and would never have participated in it. Even bringing out the affair in the open and carrying out arrests would have been a decent course of action. But the guy decided to become a cog in Danzo's schemes and literally helped him with a bag full of Sharingans.

And which democracies do you people live under, where it's okay to slaughter people who are pushed to their limits rather than meeting their demands?

Give me 10 reasons on how much you hate that title. Come on. It's simple. "Because You Love Itachi".

Now Itachi killed his Family and Clan. As a man who loved his village he "followed" orders as the higher up's see fit. Now how is the mission and resolve Itachi chose is not appealing enough cause he killed a lot of people.

So just because you know the truth and being a ninja is not easy you think that what he gave to bring a momuntary peace as meaningless? He loved his brother so much he gave his life so that he will be free, does that not appeal to you? It's because he killed a lot of people. Because maybe you don't understand what is behind it all. The scheme and contentions. Does seeing what is truth give you doubt?

As much as I hate Itachi (seriously, he is my least favourite fictional character ever) and I hate to see you being ganged up on like this, I have to admit that Itachi being a murderer and killing people isn't good enough reason alone to hate him.

He's a ninja. Ninjas in this world KILL PEOPLE. They fight off invaders and that's kind of their job. Danzo's no saint and that's why the Uchiha massacre happened, that said- Itachi supposedly IS a saint. He's such a saint that we get it rammed down our throats ALL THE TIME. Kishimoto won't stop until every member of the Naruto fanbase is on their knees sucking off Itachi the saint just like he is.

I'm happy that someone is standing up to the Itachi fanboys but there are many more problems with him than just that.

The problem is: The author of this manga has a twisted vision of what it means to be a role model, didn't you notice how every character that has met him praises his abilities and mentions how good he is at everything?, then Itachi denies some of the praise he gets but it's painfully obvious the author likes to wank him when he has the chance.

In conclusion, Kishimoto is Itachi's number one fan and if he says he is a hero, then he is a hero in the narutoverse, as much as I hate the idea.
