Itachi didnt want kabuto dead..

Kabuto would have killed itachi to save his life, so i think when kabuto noticed he was losing the battle he started fighting to kill itachi

If Itachi were alive he would've died so many times in that fight it wouldn't be a fight, however we didn't find out till later it was already a genjutsu we were viewing, so we'll never truly know.

well he was trying to die to save sasuke, and he was an edo so he didnt care.

1v1 alive Itachi would have destroyed Kabtuo IMO

If Sasuke wouldn't had arrived then Itachi would have lost to Kabuto. If Itachi would had been able to kill Kabuto, without holding back... he would have used more powerful moves. He couldn't really go all out.

kabuto had the handicap? kabuto had intel while the uchihas had none, the terrain advantage. not to mention the uchiha weren't going all out

• Kidomaru web/ Kimimaru bone forest - Would have lost as a partner was needed to cover both angles
• Tayuya Flute- Would have bound Itachi and paralysed him without a partner
• Orochimaru serpent - Actually out smarted Itachi and would have re-written the tag without Sasuke present

There are just too many time that Itachi was saved in that fight due to edo/ plot or had to rely on Sasuke to save him. A solo alive Itachi would lose to DSM kabuto.

yes the circumstances allowed for Kabuto to try more jutsu on Edo Itachi , but due to what was at stake and their goals and objectives Itachi would have had another strategy and taken another approach during the battle. Edo Itachi was knocked out by Kabuto while he was protecting Sasuke. If Sasuke wasn't their then Itachi wouldn't have to save Sasuke and that moment where he was decapitated wouldn't have happened had Sasuke not been there or they weren't in a cave.

If 100% healthy fresh Kisame/Samehada fought Guy in Kisame's place of choosing : probably surrounded by water, Kisame probably would've won.

Edo Itachi wasn't a stronger version of Itachi. Edo Itachi didn't have a disease and his body could regenerate , but he didn't have Yata Mirror. In a grassland plain, open field, Itachi would've probably beaten Kabuto alone. For instance where Sasuke vs Deidara took place. In an open field, Yata Mirror would negate all of Kabuto's jutsu. Also Itachi uses water style and can read Kabuto's movements easily even when blind and under genjutsu it was easy for him to figure out Kabuto's future actions and protect Sasuke.

itachi couldnt hvae just ended the fight...from the start when itacha and sasuke first arrived kabuto wasnt looking at them, and sasuke said he was doing that to counter genjutsu and then when kabuto used sage mode he basically became a snake(technically a dragon) and could block out his eyesight and use a snake's sensory abilities like being able to sense thorugh vibrations or use their tongues to sense not to mention the sage mode sensing abilities on top of that...Kabuto built himslef to counter genjutsu, and damage, but kishi pulled a jutsu out of his ass that was specifically designed to beat kabuto

he can use a web technique that can bibd anyone and only those who use gentle fist can break it or can use jutsu that channel chakra to the hands


kabuto can use sakon and ukons ability to manifest another body in which he can use other jutsu



kabuto a jutsu that hardens his bones and can manipulate them as well as use them as weapons

cant be caught in genjutsu unless its izanami

coupled with his instant healing he cant take physical damage becaus ehe can turn himself into water

and arguably the most powerful summon Manda2 it is extremely fast and strong and caught up with Turtle island rather quckly and than nearly choked the life out of it and i imagine the length of it is probably equal to the buddha
