If he's looking into Itachi's eyes he's done. If he's not he can't see Amaterasu coming or Itachi can finger genjutsu/and attack. Minato's seals are chakra based so any seals done on the ground can be seen. Itachi has the best shuriken jutsu in the series so his kunai's aren't getting near Itachi. Itachi wins 10 out of 10 gtf over it.

Many people know not to look into a Uchiha's eyes, but only Guy is able to fight like this. Can Minato fight like this? Maybe but without feats it will definetly hinder his ability to fight like we've seen in the manga.

Half of itachis arsenal doesn't even live up to its hype so what are we suppose to be impressed by?, ftg is really all minato needs to beat itachi(this is coming form someone who doesn't even like minato)amatertasu will NEVER touch minato so you may has well take that out the equation,totsoka will NEVER touch minato so take that out to(these are things you should know) the only thing thing itachi is doing with yata mirror against minato is simply delaying the inevitable,minatos reflexes and synapses is on par with A insides his raiton armor so even catching him a a genjutsu is already a extremely difficult task,I don't know how/why people get the idea that itachi is fast enough to react to ftg, itachi won't be able to end minato before minato ends him using the same bull crap genjutsu tactics that he used against ninja that weren't even that strong

wtf amerusu burns his tags and even if he touches itachi and put a tag on his body. minoto still cant get past sussono and dont say he goes threw. when we aslo seen sasuke try to go threw with physical attach and it didnt work.

The area of which he can teleport is so small within a seal it can hardly help. Only sensors have shown to sense the pressure of Amaterasu.

Minato also have the reflexs and speed to get away from any physical Attack itachi may try... Seen when he was able to dodge and counter Raikage's blitzing speed.
