READ TO FULLY UNDERSTAND
Short and simple, nothing big, if you still don't understand when you're finished reading then I'll gladly tell you in detail.
Lets begin -
Lets begin -
Firstly Itachi is wrong. I really don't like that Kishi is trying to make him the center of everything that's right to become a hokage. Having the knowledge of one, and being the opposite isn't smart at all.
I know he said he did it to protect the village, but why is it "wrong" to actually do what he did inside the villiage? It isn't wrong, its actually smart. Instead of lying and laughing in the faces of people and letting your "Danzo" do work outside isn't peace. Its a lie.
Itachi is wrong. His methods were right however.
Naruto is also wrong (and the people who agree with his wordings and such) to compare Itachi's words to Sasuke's method. Look here where the quotes Itachi (or naruto brings up from the flashback). Sasuke is like Indra which is alone, and always have been even when he was with Team 7 -

Sasuke is using Itachi's methods, but not his or Naruto's ideals of hokage. He's actually using Hashirama's ideal which if you consider it wrong, then you're wrong because the alliance already agreed here! -

We're not even sure if Naruto wants to unite the nations or not...he just simply wants to be hokage for world "peace" which is impossible as Sasuke said. There's no such thing, but to at least come realistically close uniting the nations and doing as Sasuke said is best.
Obviously he isn't gonna pull a Gol D. Roger execution like an idiot in front of everyone. They are ninjas, regardless death is needed. He also doesn't mean in the village walls, but enemies outside the villiage who still want to be bad/rouge.
Also this, like Sasuke once again said...he's different, but look here as Naruto tries to compare his words/ideals on how sasuke is "wrong" and Itachi's ideals to how he went wrong/failed -

That being after, Itachi basically lied to Naruto here! -

If everything else he really said was a lie, this chapter leading all the way to the end was true. Itachi indeed truly loved his brother at the bottom of his heart, and as Sasuke/Itachi stated themselves about the village -

Itachi loved the village more than anything, but truly nothing compared to his baby brother, not even the village. He could have easily killed sasuke long ago. Knowing his intentions and such, yet he didn't/couldn't because he's that important.
Sasuke won the argument about the village, and his ideals of hokage. Naruto only truly problem is the beasts and the kages as stated here -

HOWEVER!
There won't be a winner. Sasuke won't lose, and Naruto won't lose, and most certainly neither of them are going to become hokage. Neither of them have what it takes, and actually no one in general have what it takes, because people can't be controlled, and neither can darkness.
World peace isn't attainable no matter what happens or who dies.
Thread entirely unbiased, and my opinion which is more or less accurate depending on if you're logical, illogical, a fanboy, no a fanboy, a flapper, not a flapper, etc.
