i know. surprising right, coming from me? but yeah kishi made this guy a little too haxxy powerful, like aizen level. at least, at a level where someone like sasori wouldnt be able to take him out like some fans are saying. if your not an uchiha and not from his time period, you may as well give up, especially without full intel. and not looking at his eyes wont help much given his finger genjutsu and totsuka.
the problem with him that i have is he has all these powers and never truly used them on the people they needed to be used on, deciding instead to torture little kids, but now im getting ahead of myself.
itachi said only another uchiha would be abel to have resistance against tsukiyomi.
his amaterasu is extremely powerful, so much so kabuto called it both an ultimate offence and ultimate defence. as did zetsu. it managed to nearly oneshot a bijuu, and one shotted nagatos summons/jiraiyas fire toad/A's arm.
he posseses visual genjutsu of a higher level than just about anyone except shisui and maybe obito.
his brother had to damn near copy him to become as strong. genjutsu in of itself is simply overpowering, especially when you can simulate reality well enough to keep someone in it and not have them realise it. if shisui had more feats, i think he truly would be unstoppable. even itachi respected him.
his only real flaw in battle is the lack of stamina, both to keep up his amaterasu usage, and to keep up his defences against physical attack. not to mention the oft forgotten ability to copy jutsus that arent kekkei genkai. like when he copied kakashis suiton in a second. i think that is the main reason why people do not consider him to be top 5. but yeah, the guy is hax. no doubts about that.
