Dunno why people give him so much credit for breaking out of edo tensei. He set up KA for Sasuke, he had no idea about coming back as an edo. He just happened to meet Naruto and took a chance to see if KA would override edo tensei and it did.

He didn't take a chance, he was being controlled at the time, he wasn't doing anything. Kabuto was about to use Amaterasu through him, and thats when the crow reacted to it, resulting in the first image I posted.

I believe Itachi is stronger than the original Madara, even with his EMS. Plus we've already seen Madara's Genjutsu, its no more stronger than Sasuke's MS Genjutsu, the one he used on A, and that was EMS.
If that second was Itachi's instead, A would be incapacitated right now due to Tsukuyomi. Plus Yata and Totsuka spell absolute power. On top of that even Itachi was entrusted with the most powerful Genjutsu casting eye in the Ninja world.

I dont lean towards any character except the main one as you can tell from my avatar. I am a true Naruto fan and this is simply a conclusion I came to upon careful thought and analysis. If you know the real meaning behind Naruto you will never favor any character selfishly but rather observe rationally. That is my opinion and the truth.

This doesn't answer my question. Genjutsu will be useless since Madara could break out. Madara Susano'o could fling Itachi Susano'o or he just use Chibaku tensei

it sucks but the simple fact is that the manga gave itachi an invincable set up yata blocks EVERYTHING and tosuka blade can seal anything so really he cant loose but a side from that hes is not any more then any other secondary prodagy in the show and also getting out of edo was lucky and itachi did not plan that he did take full advantage though
