Itachi lost to illness. He neg diffed everyone else, coincidence? I think not. Perfect offense, perfect defense. Confirmed to be invincible by Kaguya (black zetsu). There's a reason why Kishi couldn't put him on the same battlefield as Obito/Madara/Kaguya and that's because they'd all be in an eternal dream by now.

What about it? Itachi's intent was to capture, not kill. In addition to this he was well aware of the strengths of edo tensei (regeneration being one of them) and took advantage of it. If this is a bloodlusted Itachi we're talking about then Kabuto gets totsuka'd neg diff.

He had a counter for everything Sasuke threw at him, I don't think Sasuke even landed a hit. Itachi died due to a combination of illness and exhaustion and we all know he didn't have any intention of killing Sasuke.

Apparently he "lost" to Kabuto yet Itachi wasn't the one left in a genjutsu coma after the battle and he could move freely. He lost to nobody.

I wouldn't call him invincible. Just undefeated.
He didn't have the chance to fight with Madara/Hashirama and Kaguya.
I believe he can hold off against them for a while but defeated by exhaustion because those 3 got enormous chakra (Hashi and Madara both 24-30 hours) Kaguya unknown.
So yeah, he'll be defeated if he met Madara or Hashirama.
But for now, sure, he's undefeated.
