we gotta hand it to itachi. he had the ultimate interests of the village at heart. the 2nd hokage shud pay his respects to itachi once he's done talking. Cos to me. itachi would have been the best and most successful hokage konoha ever had. give it to itachi, CHEERS

Dude, the 2nd doesn't know him. And he didn't shut because the others Uchiha are/were cursed. He just said the truth.

And no Itachi would't have been the best Hokage, nor second best, nor third.

I dont think Itachi was the most patriotic shinobi ever. His actions was always about saving Sasuke than saving the Village. Just about all of his actions revolved around Sasuke. He murdered his entire clan, not to save Konoha, but the save Sasuke.

On the other hand, many more Shinobi died with the village in mind, not just one person, like Jiraya.

Basically all Itachi cared about what his brother, not he his village.
