Though he may use Pretha path 2 absorb part of it by d time he absrbs too much he cud explode n if dat doesn't work Itachi cud use Totsuka blade 2 seal his soul amidst the smoke. Itachi wins

Isn't it possble 4 Itachi 2 fire 3 Yakata Magatama at Chikudan Tensei n still use Totsuka Blade 2 seal him like in d Manga

nagato regained some control and decided not to move. if he wasnt being controlled he wouldve been stronger. also it took a tailed beast bomb a rasenshuriken and w/e itachis lame jutsu is to destroy chibaku tensei. if it was 1v1 itachi would be dead.be quiet fanboy. and im not a fanboi of nagato. look at my signature.

I'd say Nagato is more powerful than Itachi or anyone else in Narutoverse (except Madara with rinnegan) due to his eye's but Itachi is more intelligent and tactical than Nagato.

Minato, Itachi and Nagato are on the same levels and any discussions about who is stronger from those three is just pointless because they all are epicly awesome.

his arms were blown away by itachi's just by the sheer force of itachi hitting near him and edo tensei is the reason he was able to use chibaku tensei, but in a real 1v1 fight that would not happen itachi can block any attacks thrown by nagato with the yata mirror and can seal him with sword of totsuka faster than chibaku tensei actually comes into effect. Itachi can win this fight but nagato is truly undeniably strong.

You neglect to see that not only was it Itachi who only HELPED take out Chibaku Tensei, but it was a Tailed Beast Ball and Rasenshuriken that also did it.

You are so shortsighted in your love for Itachi that you fail to see that he actually had help from two Jinchuuriki.

Yes, he's undeniably one of the most powerful characters in Naruto, but he's not the top dog. That still belongs to the Sage, Nagato, Naruto (when the time comes, maybe not just yet. Not sure), and very few others.
