Itachi is powerful!

Tobi is scared of Itachi! Itachi had greater effect on tobi then anyone have expected. Tobi said in the Manga 404 Page 17 he said "Itachi's dead nothing stands in my way now." and "The leaf village is no longer off limits." See? If Tobi was really stronger then itachi. Then he would've had attacked the Leaf Village already.

This also proves that tobi isn't Madara! The real Madara would've attacked any time he felt like he was strong enough. That shows how weaker Tobi is compared to tobi.

Off topic but I think that Nagato does not have a slight chance against. Many reason why. First off, He would just seal them with his Legendary Sword! One hit and it's over. Itachi knew more then anyone else did even more then nagato. Itachi had knowledge of Nagato's power along time ago. Itachi told Nagato in the 4th great war that he knew more then Nagato ever did. Remember that saying "knowledge is power"? Well when Itachi fought nagato with the help of naruto. Well Naruto didn't go "oh hey they have connected eye sight" he knew from the beginning planning everything out. Nagato has so many abilities people assume that he would beat Itachi. People with Greatness and Determination make simple skill more powerful. Just like how at first I thought throwing kunais wasn't so great. Then Itachi proved me wrong you can do so much with it. He mastered everything he was able to do. Just like Naruto making shadow clones. When he first did rasengan on Kabuto. The sannin said it was useless to use that justu because there is no trees, but naruto had mastered it and knew it's high and lows. The point is that Nagato has to much to many justu that he hasn't mastered it all. He thought there was no weak spot to Rinnegan vision.

Just like Batman vs Superman! Superman lost batman a human with no powers. They fought and Batman won! Superman and the other Justice league members were capture because they had "powers". Batman and Green Arrows were the only not capture because they had no "powers". Batman had to stop Superman who was turned evil. Superman was in kill mode! So you guys can't say he wouldn't go and try to kill a teammate, but he did. So no excuses.

Sharingan? He doesn't do anything special, basically his justu do are come and go XD. Teleport and walk threw stuff lol. I haven't seen a killer move from Tobi yet........... Even with Rinnegan, push and pull lol basically it XD

Wasn't nagato also under the control of Kabuto when Itachi fought him? So kabuto was basically controlling his every move so perhaps its because kabuto didn't know enough about Nagato's power?

Yeah you make some good points. Itachi definitely was a threat to Tobi and hence Tobi wanted him eliminated and replaced with someone like Sasuke who genuinely wants destruction. But at the same time, I wouldn't say Itachi was stronger than Tobi and Nagato. If he was, then he would have killed them both long ago. Remember Itachi wanted to save konoha from the akatsuki. But all he could do was spy on them from inside.

Itachi is more intelligent than Nagato but his chakra reserve is pretty low. One amaterasu, Tsukiyomi and Susanoo will drain him empty whereas Nagato's chakra pool is godlike. However, with his intelligence and plot no jutsu, Itachi might be able to take him down who knows.

Against Tobi its a different story, Itachi doesn't have one single move that might even touch Tobi and counter his intangibility. Also remember Tobi took a direct hit from sasuke's amaterasu and still survived. Like I said before, Itachi cannot kill tobi on his own, he would have killed him by now if he could.

yeah but Hidan is one of the dumbest characters and Shika is one of the smartest. Both Tobi/Nagato are intelligent enough and they would never underestimate Itachi. Tobi feared Itachi is cause of his intelligence. Like I said before, Itachi might be able to beat Nagato but featwise, he wouldn't stand a chance against Tobi. One transportation attack would send Itachi to oblivion.
