Itachi is One of Kishi's favorite?

I am under the impression that Itachi is one of Kishi's favorite characters in Naruto.

Why you ask?

Well, Itachi has been hyped up and talked about in just about every manga chapter there is. He died, Then hes back once again then he dies for good but the hype and flashback's of him does not stop. Every chapter has a different character hyping Itachi up. Even hashirama gave him a hype.

I am almost positive Kishi said that Itachi is his favorite. I know Kishi has a brother so maybe it has to deal with his own life in some way!

He said it was Shikamaru if I recall, and as for Itachi, Sasuke's whole stroy revolved around him so that's why he's still mentioned. It's Itachi that led Sasuke on all the paths he took.

He's by far his favourite. I've never seen a character get so much panel time and praise when he's long dead, the guy even got his own fight against Kabuto in this war whilst our 2nd main character sat on the sidelines.
