It can change its shape to protect the whole body of Susanoo so it will be to big for kakashi to kamui it. Changing properties doesn't mean change the shape.....

logically speaking, it just means that it coats itself with a counter nature type....like when say Kirin was cast....yata mirror switched to wind element

it is blatant hyperbole. zetsu is fodder, knows nothing and isnt reliable. if itachi himself explained how the shield works maybe id believe it. but itachi clearly believed he cant just solo everyone despite his apparent unbeatable power.
show me where yata actually defended against something impressive and reflected it. its not the first shield to be claimed to nullify all attacks and not the first one to be merely hyperbole. zetsu exagerrated. do you think he knows about EVERY attack thats ever existed? do you think the shield itself does? do you think if someone fired a universe buster at yata, it would stil survive it?

I hope you understand that artists like to simplify things when they draw to emphasize action.....you can see the strokes(the dark lines) representing the shield moving forward

You can't just base it solely off that.....look at itachi...he's just a silhouette in that panel....we don't even see susanoo's face either

the next page it shows him holding the shield

here's another page where the exact same thing happens and it shows him still have a shield right after the smoke clears

The shield also emits flames which encompasses a wider area of the susanoo....which is what you're confusing for the actual shield changing shape

That doesnt prove anything... Saying things were simplified thats just assumption on your part.. Those images you presented are not valid because the yata mirror blocked two different attacks.. one was an explosion so it would spread around the susanoo therefore yata had ro extend to its backside while the snakes only slammed the body from the front.
