You're saying he's insulting minato's intelligence but minato was quite correct in assuming madara was dead.... Since madara was dead.

Where as itachi is bound to the illusion that madara is alive cuz obito played him like a fool.

His chakra was completely different (curse of hatred/mangyeko awakening changes person's chakra signature as stated by one of the best sensors and close friend to Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Karin when she said his chakra was worse than cursed seal and that she couldn't even recognise it as Sasuke anymore).

Another point is that dna implants also change chakra signature, once again this was displayed through Karin when she couldn't recognise Kabuto and Oro explained that it was because of the dna implants in Kabuto. A whole half of Obito's body is Zetsu so yea, eat that dumb dumb. There are two manga facts there clearly portraying that Obito was unrecogniseable at that point in time.

Last but not least, this aint manga fact per se, but it is an opinion based on manga facts above, Minato would have recognised Obito EASILY if he had spent even a quarter of the time that Itachi spent with him, heck he already saw through his Madara act in a 1 millionth of the time Itachi spent with him and never saw through the act, literally one millionth, or more.
