Fair enough, except you're forgetting the ninetails wreaking havoc on the village. He isn't going to notice obito while protecting the village from tailed beast bombs. Not that he can even stop a tailed beast bomb.

If you are talkin about them switchin places where Itachi is in Minato's condition where he's not sick an at minato's age at the time, then there wouldn't be an attact on the leaf because obito himself states that he cant defeat Itachi and that's when he was sick so Itachi not sick an on Minato's lvl would destroy Obito at that time.

Obito is a fodder compare to Sasuke and Itachi. Itachi and Shisui are the best genjutsu users in the NV.

I would say Sasuke's genjutsu is just as good as Shisui and Itachi. While Itachi and Shisui have special genjutsu Koto & Tsuki, they both have drawbacks attached. Sasuke has rinnegan genjutsu, which seems to be a stronger version of sharingan genjutsu has no drawbacks.

Don't really know if that would overpower Obito's Genjutsu but then there's Obito to deal with other than the Kyuubi.

Tsukuyomi is stronger than the standard MS or 3T sharingan genjutsu. it will override them like how Shisui's KA overrode ET. Itachi negs Kyubi in a split sec and he hands Obito an ass beating.
