Chapter 626 ended with a conversation with sasuke and hashirama and hashirama said
"however it created the darkness that your brother itachi had to shoulder"

So i hope chapter 627 continue with that exact conversation about lord itachi!! Can't wait

Edit: Most likely sasuke would try to kill hashirama or still go against the leaf because hashirama created darkness his brother itachi had to shoulder

The look on Sasuke's face when Itachi was mentioned shows he's still hurting and probably feels guilty for his doubts. Most likely what Itachi endured will keep him set on destroying Konoha even though Hashirama is trying (and failing) to show him a better path.

This. I thought for a moment that Sasuke would get TNJ, but that pannel you mentioned confirmed the same thing for me too. All the 1st Hokage managed to do was stir Sasuke up enough to go closer to the deep end. If he changes it sure won't be from anything he said.

I'm actually surprised others didn't notice it. It was a key moment in that chapter imo. And I agree, any change won't be due to Hashirama's story or his answer to what a shinobi is and Konoha's purpose. I'm pretty sure only Naruto can change him at this point. If Minato speaks about the attack, it'll still show the village's biased views on the Uchiha.
