Well, it isn't silent anymore. More and more people are knowing it now, so Kishimoto will keep wanking about Itachi. Wich means: Destroy Character 2.0.

I once was a big Itachi-fan, but the hype ruined it big time.

If you read the thread, you will notice I already did. This guy just said the same someone else did, just in better grammar.

He says 'it's in the manga so it's a fact', well, Itachi also said 'he only failed in the end' so that makes Itachi a failure? Indeed, just pointing out how lame this argument was.

i never said anything about his grammar so idk why you keep picking on that matter.......

true the manga stated that Itachi is a failure, but i don't see why that statement have anything to do with him being a Hero......

Hashirama said that Itachi is better than him, does that make Itachi better than Hashirama ?
listen to me, the only reason why Itachi considered himself a failure is because he failed to change Sasuke Mind after fighting with him and he can't do anything to solve his clan matters via negotiation,resulting him massacred them in the process for the greater good

I don't see why his thesaurus-glorified speech is supposed to give him special treatment.

That's essentially what he is, a Batman who kills innocents. He doesn't qualify as a hero but he protected Konoha, that's all that matters. Also, he's nowhere near as cool as Batman.

last time i checked a forum is a place to discuss something that happen in the manga(Discussion) and something that not yet happen(prediction),

here we are trying to discuss something that already takes place in the manga.... but by no means at all we should disregard the author statement in the manga......

instead of doing that, we should take the author statement into account and compared it to other statement that shared connection with that matters.....

Itachi a real hero (his fans are saying it)? No. A hero doesn't have blood from little children or elders on his hands. Being blackmailed or not, he killed innocent people, it's a fact.

Don't get me wrong. Itachi IS a genius, and he DID some great things, but he is just a smart, skilled super-soldier. Not a hero. If you ask me he is not in the same league as Hashirama, Minato, Naruto, ...

If the previous Hokage are greater than Itachi then why do you think Hashirama told Sasuke that Itachi is a greater shinobi than he ever was? If you consider Hasi as a hero, then why not Itachiif he is classed as greater?

Do not forget Ōnoki's words about the person that ended the Edo Tensei. In addition, Kishi has portrayed Itachi even as an angel [a benevolent being].
