itachi is strong. I believe he could take on any of the current five kage in a 1 vs. 1 battle. but he loses against if he tries to go against any random 2 of the 5. let alone 5 at once.
EMS madara and itachi would be a good match. (I still say madara would slightly have the advantage) but edo madara with rinnegan and wood release is way, way too much for itachi
