Did Hashirama literally mean Itachi was better than him or did he mean that Itachi did something he himself would've never done? The quote varies by translation (*********** says "puts me to shame" or something like that) and I find it hard to believe that Itachi could beat Hashirama because Hashirama is a mortal god (oxymoron). And besides Hashirama only heard of Itachi's sacrifices and nothing else, so I'm sure he didn't really mean that Itachi>him. But Itachi is a genius and could probably own Hashirama with preparation time... Idk. Your thoughts?
