I won't lie, Itachi has easily been my favorite character from the beginning. This was simply solid troll work. I do think Itachi is underrated greatly by all the hater's bit far overrated by those who love the concept of a 'prime Itachi' (admit it, all the people who hate on him, the idea of an Itachi without tuberculosis to reduce his chakra pool and reaction time), but I loved every second of this troll. Sadly, Itachi has dropped to 7 or lower at the highest, and possibly lower at that. The man is still one of the most naturally talented shinobi ever, obviously without including reincarnations in regard to natural talent... Hell, even without)

OMG, why do people overestimate Itachi so much? I pisses me off so much sometimes when I read threads about him. He is not GOD he cannot SOLO everyone. There is no evidence to support that his yata mirror and Totsuka blade can defeat anyone. Sure they are powerful and even legendary but that doesn't mean he can't be defeated.

The reason I like Itachi is because he is not just smart as a shinobi but as person too. He cares about others more than himself. When he fought Lord Jiraiya he said it himself that he had to retreat after using MS and Amaterasu because his eyes used too much power. He has weakness just like everyone else. He didn't care that he was labeled as a mass murderer or criminal and still protected not only his village but Sasuke. That's pretty incredible if you think about it. If he wanted to he probably could have messed up Madara's plans but he chose to protect his brother over everything else. That is why Hashirama envies him because he was a true shinobi protecting from the shadows just like a crow shrouded in darkness. He didn't care what darkness would befall him as long as I he could save his brother. Hashirama also admired Itachi because of his genius and intellect from an early age but that he was able to make things right in the end, unlike Hashirama who died in regret,
