1) Itachi is the most powerful character in the series.
2) His jutsu are second to none, he solos all.
3) Itachi was released from edo tensei not because he didn't have the ability to break out, but because he would have soloed Juubito and Juubidara.
4) Itachi is the one and only Phoenix Sage.
5) Itachi forced Sage of Six Paths to give naruto and sasuke a power up.
6) If Itachi were to meet Juubito or Juubidara he would seal them with his PS Totsuka.
Itachi's perfection of Sage Mode is so powerful, even when he isn't in Sage Mode, he is in Sage Mode, it's left a permanent imprint on his bodily features. The reason Itachi's marks are thinner is because his Sage Mode is more refined. The reason Itachi's marks are longer is because his Sage Mode is more powerful.

Itachi has persistently been alluded to possess superhuman speed or power in ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu - sufficient to threaten individuals that are using the power of nature or tailed beasts to supplement their strengths.
So what if Itachi was lying about not possessing a sensing ability? Wouldn't Sage sensing explain how he was the only individual to sense Tobi's presence when he was younger? This way he could power Sasuke up further.
He did seem to know about Kabuto's Sage Mode and said that Kabuto reminded of himself when he was younger. And he has those lines on his face for Sage pigmentation. He's been a perfect Sage since he was 4 years old?
