If you guys watch the latest episode then Itachi did already cast his Izanami on Kabuto before he slashed him from Oro's snake body. The part where Itachi and sasuke undone the genjutsu and Itachi held Oro's body while Sasuke helped him, AND a drop of water fell on his cheek, hahaha lmfao i thought Kabuto cried BUT he didn't it was Itachi's Izanami. So it means Itachi activated Izanami during that time.

IDK but Itachi never tried to kill him or neither using his full strength. Itachi saved Sasuke from the beginning but it doesn't mean he got defeated by Kabuto.

that's not true. All he does is lose an eye, there is nothing stopping him from doing it alive if he realy wanted too. Due to him being an edo, he is more careless of his body. YOu really think itachi would have gotten hit like that if he was alive?

i am not so sure about this man....to me it seems like itachi`s prep time and concentration level are too long and extreme for him to be able to use it in an actual fight with certainty....i wonder if he could do it...

It is true, he got stabbed at that time. However, he got only once since the other one was Genjutsu.

And he stated clearly; ''Uchiha's do not always need the five senses to cast Genjutsu (Izanami)''. So it was definitely not planned (to look Kabuto in eyes''.

Although he did get stabbed, the other one was Genjutsu.

As an Edo, the effects of getting injured is a non-factor.

But if Itachi was alive, unless he makes the start and end point of the loop something completely different, he would have to be physically injured at least once for the process to be complete.

Also, let's say he bleeds out and dies from the first wound trying to prep Izanami, guess what? No Izanami activated because he doesn't live to make the end point.

I already explained exactly what Itachi did in that fight with Kabuto. He was actually trolling Kabuto the entire fight and Kabuto was stupid enough to fall into even though he knew how smart Itachi was.
