Where are you getting this notion that illness affects chakra? It's fanmade and absolutely baseless. Do you have any manga pages to back it up? I've already given you an example from the databook. When people think of 'healthy Itachi' they think about Edo Itachi, which is just ridiculous.

itachi without a sickness has low chakra reserves... but that sickness really affects his battling skills... even black zetsu stated how itachi didnt dodge things usually he could easily dodge.also when he fought sasuke he didnt have the intent to kill and went easy on him... and on top of those two factors... he was going blind with his sharingan and could barely see sasuke...itachi had so many handicaps and still almost won... only dieing because of his sickness...itachi is one of the strongest shinobi of all time dont underestimate him

Itachi beat Oro over a decade ago while he was in perfect health. The fact that itachi has so many fans should tell you to stop underestimating him. Their has not been an obsticle yet strong enough stand in his way. It is common knowledge that itachi would have beaten sasuke if he wanted to. On top of that he was stronger than every body in akutski exept maybe pain and even that is debatable.

Itachi beat a crippled brain dead version of Nagato by attacking him from behind and then attacking him behind a clod of dust simple

He ran away when Kabuto started getting serious through Nagato and instead of doing what would lead to his death(attacking Nagato head on) he blinded Nagato summons and Kabuto was a noob so he didnt notice

It's a manga man has no value in real life. Truth is itachi is a godly ninja, suffering from an illness, even that gives him best stats. He can hold his own against ANY character, shown so far. Not saying he cn beat Edo Madara or something, but considering the fight, he did kinda solo Nagato, and you're saying he didn't face him in a battle of sheer brute forces. That doesn't matter. Do you say that about shikamarus fights. Brain is just as big part of a fight as power, and if Nagato healthy were up against itachi, maybe ill, cause we haven't seen him healthy yet, I feel it would be itachi=Nagato. Can go either way but it will most likely be a high difficulty battle for both(very high). Seeing as crippled fight was too easy. You can't deny that. If you have a counter argument, by all means post. If you have an argument like "wrong you douche fanboy, Nagato at his deathbed stomps 100% itachi", then please restrain yourself, because I'm not gonna respond. Since Sasuke was chasing Itachi for such a long time, all avid followers were taken on that journey too. All these chases were packed with a lot of emotion. It is difficult to resist these emotions if one has grown up watching Naruto over the years.

There is no such thing as 'healthy Itachi', Madara confirming that Edos have unlimited chakra ended that idea. There has also been absolutely no suggestion that Itachi's sickness affected his chakra reserves, as Kimimaro still received a 4.5 for his stamina in the databook despite his illness; Itachi had just a 2.5 in the same department.

Was it ever shown that kimimaro and itachi had the same illness? You can't compare assumptions. Plus data books state tha itachi should've been dead already by the time he fought sasuke, he kept himself alive through sheer "willpower". So you're comparing a guy with a curse mark which increases chakra and stamina on his deathbed, and a guy who was supposed to have Ben dead already and was a miracle that he wasn't. If sasuke had waited a day or 2 longer, itachi might've died on his own RIPU_U

Even if itachi had the power to kill with a snap of his finger do you honestly think he would have killed jiraiya that day. Jiraiya was a hokage candidate of a village he was still very loyal to. Even if he believed that for sure he had kisame. I honestly dont think their is a person out their who is even half intelligent that would say jiraiya would not get killed easy buy the two of them together.

But illness strains your body and brings you to your limits consequently faster. If you're sick, already limited movements like going up stairs can be difficult. And Itachis illness was on a state where he had to take medicaments to stay even alive for the day to fight Sasuke.

If you notice some moments in his fight with Sasuke, he spat blood where he could further fight; for example when he touched his heart and spat blood while using Susanoo.
