-Team Kakashi before naruto gets sage mode
-Kakashi, naruto(without sage mode) sakura, sai, yamato
-sage mode naruto
-akatsuki (except pain and konan)
-Six paths of pain
-edo nagato
and finnaly tobi before rinnegan.

He isn't taking on MS Obito by himself (If he is included) If he is not included, he isn't taking on Kisame+6 other members. He will obviously resort to Susanoo so he doesn't get instantly fodderized, and when he does, Kisame uses GSB and the other members gang bang him.

Kisame alone has the capacity to keep up with Itachi. Add Kakuzu and Deidara and he's already outmatched

Ik, im not saying he would. I just don't see the point of putting battles like Nagato vs Itachi. Or Madara vs Itachi. Or even Hashirama vs Itachi. Itachi is not on their level and never will be.

To be fair, IMO Itachi vs Nagato could be debated. Nagato is stronger but that doesn't guarantee a win.
