1. Defeated Kabuto stopping edo tensie.
2. Sealed Nagato
3. defeated Orichimaru twice no effort
4. defeated Naruto in the Itachi retrieval arc
5. feared among all the 5 great nations,
6. Made Danzo fear him, and Make Tobi stay away from konoha.
7. Orchestrated the entire fight with sasuke playing him like a pipe to lure out Orichamura and destroy him.
8. defeated Kakashi, Asuma and Kurenie.
9. defeated Deidara.
10. helped defeat the 4 tails with kisame.

He is just all around a master ninja with insane skills and power.

Itachi is really a hero and a marvellous one...he's my best character after kakashi
but
Kisame captured their jinchuriki alone, he had no help from Itachi.
Itachi and Obito kept away from each other, they had a contract and both feared each other.
The same with him and Danzo, though he can stomp Danzo without trying.
