Putting aside the fight with sasuke, because itachi did let him win, he has not been defeated yet....will he remain undefeated or will he die in this 4th ninja war?

just like any other character before narutos generation, we dont know much of the battles everyones has had, but from what we know, even the great madara and first hokage have lost..... so, itachi over rated? dont think so!! he was in the third ninja war, killed the uchiha clan, joined the akatsuki and now in the 4th ninja war...he a badass

Itachi is mentally and emotionally weak. Thus, dragging him into a world war will only worsen his twisted mind.

They say that the 3rd Shinobi world war had trumatized Itachi and later chose to wipe out his clan to preserved peace. That's bullshit! Trumatize of what? both his parents survive!

Itachi isn't Minato, we better keep our hopes low. The recent Shinobi war, had shown us the there are also crazy strong shinobis out there. Itachi has the advatange when he'll use the MS. But, the risk of going blind is inevitable.
