You personally like Sasuke and yet your thread throws that statement into a total opposite cur. He is a "canvas that can easily be dyed any color". He's a teenager that was manipulated on every edge and curb of hatred on the negative spectrum. You cannot sit there and judge that in that context he is totally wronged. To think he would choose the right path after all of that is simply deplorable and not even remotely realistic. And up to this point of the Manga he is no longer under Tobi's influence. An admirable change.

How can he choose the right path...It's called maturing and taking responsibilities for his own actions. Coming up to everyne and saying I want to be hokage now" just won't cut it. But now he's finally stopped *****ing (a little) and is now fighting again >_>

What are you talking about? He always took responsibility for his actions. Albeit, every one is aspired only by what they deem is their initiative, he can't be wronged for that, otherwise that defeats the purpose of ever praising someone else for what they "took responsibility for". Emotion Isn't that simple. You don't just "take the right path" because you mature. What the hell is that? And who are you to judge what is right or wrong? You're no self-righteous deity of whatever sort.. You are a normal flawed person, just like every one else. Just like Sasuke. There's obviously a hidden intuition on Sasuke's part and basing your perceptions off of that one outburst Isn't potentially smart when the story is ongoing and his character still obscure. He was never "b*tching". It's called "searching", "questioning", "finding himself and finding reason". Would you not demand an answer from the f*cks that tore everything you've ever loved apart and left you to decay without any clarification of any sort?

You sound like you're basing your perspective off of "who has done more for this or that". I don't have anything against Naruto, and they have both made impacts on equal affairs. Every actual important factor of Sasuke's character has COMPLETELY escaped your notice, and plausibly far too late to be recognized if you're in that late notice. The fact that you see him no more than something annoying established the fact that you have not reached the level of depth in his character that is needed to be approached in order to actually appreciate his character. The points you stated have already been argued and dealt with, leaving them unoriginal, obvious and blatantly old. People typically dislike him for riding off external appearance.

i understand sasukes character all to well. he is a boy left scarred by the annihilation of his clan and constantly wondering why he was spared while everyone including his parents and other children were killed. he spent years alone trying to figure this out while practicing to be the best at the academy while having only one goal in mind, the destruction of his older brother itachi uchiha. years pass and he finally graduates being placed in a team with naruto uzumaki a boy who also shares his loneliness and sakura a fodder. over the course of their time as a team he realizes that naruto has become his bestfriend and after seeing naruto become strong enough to fight gaara and then having his brother ignore him to go after naruto he gets butthurt and leaves the village.

part2
sasuke now a highly trained shinobi thinks he is ready to fight itachi and he takes his opportunity to kill a weakened oro and go after him, he assembles a team and blah blah blah searches for him ends up hearing about his awesomness from deidara then fights itachi thinks hes a boss when he wins and finally feels like he has reached his goal. wakes up is told his life is a lie and his enitre mind shatters and he breaks down (understandable) but then this is when i start to hate him. why didnt he just go back to konoha? why didnt he just go and ask the elders instead of making some humongous b**** fit?!?!? he would have been welcomed back with open arms and even allowed to ask these questions with naruto and tsunades help. but no he decides to be a princess and help tobi attack the kage and even get some of the eight tails chakra and here we are now in the manga.

did i scratch the surface of sasukes character?

First bold; Yeah you nailed it fine until there. That was a misfire. He defeated Naruto when Naruto came after him before he even made it to Orochimaru's, leaving that undignified. He wen't to Orochimaru, something dangerous that he was aware could kill him, by his own will. That took balls. Not stupidity. Because, redefined, he wasn't getting anywhere being in the village. Naruto was being trained by a Sannin. Sasuke was being trained by a Jounin. He left, and he wen't to train with a Sannin. Keep the authorities in mind. He wanted it his own way. And as a fan I would say I'd have preferred that much greater.

Second bold; This is basically what I've been talking about here. You aren't understanding his complexities. At this point, he can't help but pseudo pscyhoanalyze everything. What you said prior to that is marked out, for you can't conclude it's understandable if you can't highlight this being understandable. "Shattered and torn" is the key. We do f*cked up things in retaliation to being f*cked over. Also, plot. Plot. I would think it would be disturbingly dull if he just decided to go about an optimistic mindset, after the sh*tstorm that happened to him. His character spiraled out of control, and that's when people failed to keep up with him. I cannot stress this enough. The fact that so many people STILL use this reference against him is mind-boggling to the highest definition. It puts a damper on things in-between from then and now when he had ticks of both compassion and insanity. He's an eliptic paradox of a character and that is why I say he is one of "those" that cannot just simply be understood. That's not how masterpieces work.
I dissected your response and the only resolve I can come up with is that I've read it so many times over in other people. I'm not a try-hard to explain things, I try to keep it contempt in point-on-strike with my own opinion. People need to find new reasons to pick on him about rather than casually hating on him with grudges seeding from the past, otherwise they're nothing different than the character they claim they so solemnly hate. At this point, it's much easier to debate with people on a combat versus rate.

Stopped at bold....How dare you compare me, a living and breathing human being, with a *****y, wide-eyed, ultra sensitive, cry baby ass, face ass anime character such a s Sasuke? I would wanna be compared to Sakura before Sasuke.

honestly i started to understand sasukes character again a little more after tobiramas lecture about the uchiha being the ones who treasured love the most and that once losing it they go mad, but then he pissed me off again when he just showed up and stated he was going to be hokage. i get where your coming from, sasuke is a well written character and thats evident in the fact that people will go out of their way to make threads about him wether it be bashing or fanboyism. i guess sasuke is supposed to be an improved madara in a way as i notice similarities. and thats high praise from me seeing as im a madara fan boy lol

That was the most ignorant thing you've said yet lmao

I admit I was taken aback by his Hokage proclamation, and I was actually a little perplexed, but there may be more than what meets the eye on that topic, so I wouldn't get "pissed off" about it just yet. If you analyzed the character through eyes of a Sasuke "wanker" like me, I guess, you would find that it wasn't even remotely sincere. And you question the act appalled. But nonetheless, that's why he fascinated me by that notion; completely undermining the unpredictable.
Thank you for understanding my view on his character. And well hey, I like Madara too. I enjoy any character that requires more skilled thinking from a reader on his/her part to be able to evaluate characterization.

chiiiiiiiillllll i meant in the fact that he had the common sense to try and change the system while madara went bat sh*t crazy and devised an ingenious plan to cast a worldwide genjutsu unstead of just fixing things with hashirama which would have been simple enough with their power and madaras brains.

It's sad how PEOPLE hate on FICTIONAL characters lol. You hate SASUKE an FICTIONAL character because of how KISHIMOTO wrote him? SASUKE an FICTIONAL character doesnt draw himself, nor does he choose what he gets to say because hes NOT real. Geez grow up stop hating FICTIONAL characters they have NO control on what the WRITER makes them do. Children these days believe this shit is real.

Sasuke literally looks like a hopeless little kid compared to Itachi at this point... no offense Sasuke wankers/trolls. I'm just sayin' the whole time Itachi was talking to Kabuto and Sasuke kept chimimg in, Ieas just like "SHUT THE F*** UP SASUKE, BOSSES ARE TALKING RIGHT NOW" Zzz

Clearly you dont have an older sibling. Thats usually the dynamic you have, no matter how old you get.
