Just because a character is dead, doesn't mean that you have to stop being their fan and liking them. I'm going to keep on being a fan of Itachi, regardless of if he's in the manga or not.

By your logic, no one can be a fan of anyone bar the fodders that are currently alive, Kabuto, Tsunade, Oro, the K11, and that's pretty much all. And Madara/Obito too, but they will more than likely die at the end of this after getting some redemption. But other characters like Minato, Tobirama, Hashirama, Jiraiya, Nagato, etc are off limits. That's not the way it works.

Itachi does have alot of fans, both on this forum and outside of it. It'll probably stay that way, just as it will for some of the other aforementioned dead characters do like Minato and many more.

I don't quite see the point of this thread. You just stated the obvious. Of course his fans know that he's dead. Everyone knows. We all read the manga after all.

It's hard to do that, especially since some message boards find calling people trolls or fanboys/fangirls to be flaming or baiting and can get you into trouble. I haven't read the rules for here, but they are all basically the same with some letting you swear more than others, lol.

Also, calling them fans isn't inaccurate since they are allegedly fans, even though there is a split in the fanbase. I do sympathize though, these people are creating a social stigma for fans like you.
