No you're wrong.
He first defeated Obito than he fought against Kurama so he didn't sacrifice his life to fight against the Masked Man.
Your second post makes no sense. Sasuke was able to defeated fully transformed Hachibi in a few minutes (FORGET WHAT SUIGETSU DID)
Also, when Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura and Chiyo confronted Itachi; they tried their best to not look at his eyes but before Naruto could even know, he had fallen inside Itachi's Genjutsu.

I am not an Itachi fanboy but I simply disagree with others when I feel like.

First of all Itachi can cast genjutsu from his fingers not just his eyes (Manga Fact) "my boy?" lmao

If minato had Sword of Totsuka he would still be alive

If Itachi didnt have his Sharingan he would still own minato if he didnt have FTG. ITachi doesn't only use his eyes to cast genjutsu
