Itachi Failed

I like Itachi and all but he failed. He didn't accomplish anything. Orochimaru is still alive and Madara is still there. Even though Itachi got rid of the other edo tensei but they were not threats. Madara is the biggest threat to the shinobi world.

Also anybody else think that Kishi is trying to gather all the villians together in one place and end there. This war is starting to look epic.

Itachi didnt accomplish anything? Are we serious? He by far is top 5 smartest shinobi from the hidden leaf. Hes the second strongest uchiha. Stop it with these lies.

We dont know if he wanted to kill Orochimaru

Itach did fail. He told Naruto he will stop edo tensei so but Madara is still sticking around. Madara is going after Naruto.
He failed to get rid of Orochimaru and stop Sasuke.
Naruto has to face four overpowered villian by himself because of Itachi.

I agree he has failed at some points, but he has vastly succeeded in others.
Only 2 people broke free from edo, him and madara. that has to say something to begin w/.

although itachi took the initiative to seal oro while he had the chance, his main goal was only to free sasuke from oro taking over his body, which he succeeded in.

madara has haxed power and has more knowledge of techniques.
im sure itachi was more worried for narutos health, as he stated "i have left you(sasuke) in narutos hands"
so he succeeded again!
itachi doesnt know the reanimation Jutsu so he couldnt plan of madara escaping or he woulda took a different route on things if he just wanted to stop madara.
More importantly he did get rid of the edos, some one greater than him, just escaped like him.

I never said Itachi sucked but you do make some good points. To get rid of curse mark you would have needed to kill or get rid of the main power source. That power source was Orochimaru. I bet he is still making up plans to get sasuke's body.

the ignorencce in this forum is beyond me.

itachi has prevented more wars than any body else in the manga. so far orochimaru isn't a threat to anyone. you have no idea what conditon hes in itachi sealed his body.

He stopped kabuto and edo tensie except madara he saved naruto and bee from capture, he stalled tobi longer than minato did and he prevent a world war.

But a war still happened U_U.

He wanted to kill Tobi with Amaterasu- Fail
He wanted to KA Sasuke so that he could serve the village- Fail
He wanted to stop Edos- Succeed but he only sealed 3 or 4fodders since the main Edo is still there and the others were already sealed
He wanted Sasuke to follow the right path- Not even sure it would happen, just wait
