Three comments:

1) I think you meant The Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror are ethereal weapons (not sage weapons).

2) I'm not sure if Yata Mirror would work on the Gedo Mazo's soul removal attack or even on Chibaku Tensei. I'm not sure if those attacks have any nature transformation to them.

3) I'm not understanding how you can claim Nagato got pwned by Itachi. He wasn't in control of his own body. Therefore, none of Nagato's own fighting instincts were being used. For all we know, Kabuto did a piss poor job of controlling Nagato. Just as a side note though, without B and Naruto's help Itachi would have been screwed when Kabuto had Nagato cast CT.

Please understand, i'm not saying Nagato would beat Itachi, I'm just saying you shouldn't base an argument for Itachi beating Nagato off of that fight.

youre trolling too much its actually not funny anymore. i still wouldnt put minato on the loosing side against itachi. minato is smart enough not to look into the eyes of a sharingan user. and hes equally smart compared to itachi. for example. what took konan years to realize that tobi solidifies after he attacks took minato seconds, and he was able to change the course of the battle just like that. and btw itachi cant cast tsukyomi from his fingers, thats another gengutsu. tsukyomi has to be eye to eye.

and once again.. nagato has a preta path barrier around him so all the stuff that you said is pointless, they will all get absorbed the moment it gets close to nagato. and nagatos power will just increase as he absorbs all those chakra itachi is using, and lets not forget that itachi doesnt have that many chakra because of his haxed sussano. and this battle it doesnt matter whos smarter, i agree that itachi is smarter, but before he could even outsmart nagato he will have to face his monstrous power and itachi will be dead, out of chakra.

let me just throw muu out there.
tell me what itachi is going to do against a guy that uses jinton, can go invisible, and no chakra to trace. dont tell me tsukyomi again because that is just laughable. itachi will get stomped.

Besides Itachi could just use Yasaka Magatama on CT to stop it himself

It was never stated that he actually needed the power of Naruto & Bee, he just sugested they attack together

isnt this obvious ? he was training his little bro for the last time. and your right, at the same time hes also trying to drain sasukes chakra so orochimaru would pop out. itachi was also sick in this battle as pointed out by zetsu. he can barely see and coughing up blood. and he used all his powerful techniques ? what ?? did we see magatamas ? did we see izanami ? no. and whats the point of bringing kimmimaro into this ?
maybe your getting my point wrong, i am also against this thread.
