I'm not trolling or anything. I don't understand how people like your cant agree hes the best for a 1v1 battle. Naruto is and many other people but Itachi seems to be the best. I'm not a fanboy or anything I have another favorite character but Itachi doesnt have everything but extremly powerful stuff to win in a 1v1. Naruto has Bm mode which is really strong n Hashirama has wood release but Itachi is just too good. Who knows what else he has for ninjutsu and such.

If he did want to kill Sasuke then he could of but he didnt because he loved him and wanted him to fulfill Sasukes goal. If he killed Sasuke and got EMS he would been much stronger and later before he would die he would awaken the Rinnegan. Hes just incredibly strong. Imagine what else he had before he died. He beat up Sasuke even when he was sick and wasnt trying and put Tsyukomi on Naruto and Kakashi, because of him Sasuke put amaratsu on Tobi. Tobi could of died there.
