First of all Itachi is alive. He is under genjutsu. Which he put on himself. And now he is dreaming all these things about Juubi and etc XD all these nonsences. HueHueHue really ten tail, edo tensei and etc could live in Naruto world no chance, only in dreams....

Sasuke died there. Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi survived but loose the fight and they escape from it.

After Itachi heard that his Young brother died in that fight, he almoust go insane for clearing his mind he put genjutsu on himself for escaping from this world, and live in dream. But how much he want to hide in shadows one side in him want to revenge for his younger brother. Because he sacrifice everything for him and now...
