Wrong. Itachi has the POTENTIAL to beat ANYONE (except Juubi Jin). His skill set and unmatched intelligence and wisdom (Only Minato is in the same tier) can prove fatal for anyone, be it Madara or Hashirama. I know many won't agree, but this holds true for Itachi as well as Minato.
