Naruto and Sasuke were molded by multiple people however.
Without Jiraiya, Kakashi, Hinata, Nagato, Iruka and so many others, Naruto would indeed be a different person.
Sasuke himself was moulded by multiple people himself, with the most prominent being Itachi himself, but Hashirama, Kakashi, Naruto himself, Orochimaru and, one might argue, even Sakura taking a part in making him his current self.
If you really wanna get meta, Izuna, by dying, triggered Madara into doing all he did and thus mold the Shinobi world as it is.
So praise Izuna.
