Actually despite my username. Saito Hajime & Aoshi Shinomori are actually my favourite in the Rurouni Kenshin series..
I just think Kenshin Himura sounds better. I much prefer Kenshin character from the OVAS then from the series itself..

Also Itachi and Kenshin do have some similarities. A curiosity, Kishimoto first intended to base the Kakashi character solely on Kenshin Himura, but that didn't work and he abandoned the idea.. Maybe he used it for Itachi on some way or another..

Sumimasen (excuse me) for taking this vast amount of time to respond back. Ah, well that’s cool but your username was very deceiving as I initially thought Kenshin would have been your favorite character out of all the others and I sure was mistaken lol I choose mine as it tied into a characteristic of Sasuke's of course. I do have to agree with you in that notion as I too think the OVA Kenshin is better much to that of the anime. Yeah, I heard that Kishi almost based Kakashi on Kenshin but decided against it. I also do agree in the manner being a strong possibility that Kishi could have choose to base Itachi rather than Kakashi off of Kenshin. Oh yes, arigatou gozaimasu to you and Jack Dante for the reps ^.^​
