Itachi can't beat Jiraiya

1/ Itachi's Genjutsu can be dispelled by experimented ninja with good chakra control.
2/ Itachi's Susanoo can be destroyed by big ball rasengans.
3/ Itachi's Amaterasu can be sealed and Jiraiya did that already.
4/ Itachi is a low chakra ninja and his jutsus consume so much chakra while Jiraya has immense chakra reserves so as long as the battle goes Jiraiya will get more chances to win.
5/ As I said Itachi must end the battle quickly which is impossible against Jiraiya.
6/ The only problem for Jiraiya is Tsukuyomi so he must summon toads to undo it or use shadow clones to avoid that.

I know that many won't agree but that's the way it is =D

It would be a good fight indeed. But fro my memory, Amaterasu wasn't sealed. Itachi used Amaterasu to break out of Jiraiya's sealing jutsu. Other than that, may the best chinobi win

Not sure about that, considering Jariya hasnt displayed great feats of speed, and itachi doesnt need to use sasunoo like sasuke to fight a strong opponent. Madara used sasunoo to display his strength. Itachi used sasunoo in dire situations as an ultimate defense. Sasuke uses sasunoo just because he has the f***ing ability, and ends up forced into a corner because his opponents are usually much more skilled then himself.

This is not to say Jariya will not win, its just to point out that Itachi (and Madara) dont fight the same way Sasuke does, Itachi fights alot smarter and conserves as much chakra as possible, never overdoing it, and stays in control of his movements, and enviornment, and the same can be said for Jariya, I see Jariya going SM and Itachi not actually using sasunoo at all, using more ninjutsu and taijutsu to keep up with jariya until Jariya overpowers him and he has no real way out and then he will use sasnoo to fight jman., Jman can then use frog song on itachi, and assuming he sees Yata mirror in action 1 time, he will have a 2 pronged attack headed for itachi 1 genjutsu and 1 ninjutsu and itachi can only block 1 of them.

All in All i see jman winning, but it will be dificult and he will have to use his summons and SM along with almost all of his chakra to beat itachi in a no hold bar fight.

The Amaterasu was on the wall just burning. It would be a different story if Itachi aimed it at Jiraya.

I'm a huge fan of Jiraiya, mate, on my top 5 tbh.

But what he sealed was a stationary Amaterasu, meaning he can stand next to it and roast chickens to death.

A moving Amaterasu would be impossible to stop, and possibly avoid despite Jiraiya's speed, base and SM.

3/ That took like 10 minutes, the dude had to pull out a scroll and like write shit on it before doing lame hand signs, He aint doing that in battle brah.

4/ Itachi one shotted Kakashi, Oro (twice) Deidara and Nagato who all had larger chakra reserves.

5/ He gets one paneled like everyone else.

6/Sharingan/Uchiha the requirements to break Tsukuyomi, Toads and Clones aint bout dat life homie.
