I was just thinking of how OP itachi is, that if he was alive and gained EMS etc etc, then I thought to myself, tsukiyomi... Yata mirror .... Infinite tsukiyomi.... Itachi might just be the only other shinobi apart from rinnegan users to block IT light, I know sasuke used his rinnegan power to block IT light, so can yata also block IT light, and was like, ALL HAILLL ITACHI SAMA!!!!! He is too f*cking broken

If Naruto mastered the use of TSB he would have been able to shield himself. Neither Hamura nor Hagoromo had Susano'o yet were able to not get trapped in the genjutsu.

It might just be that, the tenseigan can repel IT, nothing says goudodama can shield one from IT, if so, naruto with universal comprehension of all things will automatically figure that out

And Tenseigan was never said to deflect IT, nor does it grant an avatar so he would have no way to protect Hagoromo, in fact the dojutsu didn't exist the time Kishi wrote the Kaguya Arc. It's obvious they would have used TSB because they had Six Path Senjutsu like Naruto.
