Think about it. What can anyone really do to a healthy Itachi? What move can really stop Itachi? Itachi has proven to be just as smart as shikamaru, he has proven to be one of the most skillful shinobi ever, and has an item that can stop anyone.
Who can stop an edo tensei by themselves? Out of all the edo that were defeated, who did it by themselves? Not really anyone because edo's cant die and they need people to hold them down, then others to seal. Itachi just needs one attack, one swing of a sword, and its over.

Yeah he was fighting with bee and naruto, but again, all he needed to do was hit him one time with that sword and that body and soul is gone.
Who can beat that? Who can beat a ninja as smart as shikamaru, and as skillful and dangerous compared to someone with a rinnegan.

I bet you Itachi can give hashirama a run for his money. As we have seen from sasuke and naruto fights, Sasuke has always hit naruto with some crazy jutsu and somehow, naruto comes back for me. Isnt that tiring? I bet madara had that same issue. He probably had some crazy attacks, but what can you do when they have such immense amounts of chakra that they keep coming back for me? He got tired, his movements slowed, and started to get hit, leading to his defeat. And dont say he lost on purpose to get his cells. If that is the case he could have defeated him and took his entire body. And dont say he faked his death to reappear later and shock the world, he could have just dissapeared for a bit after defeating hashirama.
But back to the point. Itachi wouldn't have to worry about that. His Amaterasu, and his susanooo sword can handle that battle for him just fine. Anyone who thinks Hashirama can someone not get sealed after getting hit with that sword ( remember he got a rinnegan user ) is crazy.
