Naruto and Jiraiya would win because Itatchi (while he was with Kisame) admits that he can't beat Jiraiya (and that was before Sage Mode was revealed to us.) And Madara says that Naruto is stronger than Sasuke after Naruto defeats Pain. Do you really think Sasuke could defeat Pain? No, not at all.

I completely disagree with the bolded part above. There are few people who can keep up with Itachi's speed and his incredible intellect. Jiraiya is terrible at genjutsu, (said by himself) and Itachi is a genjutsu master. And as far as I recall Sage mode doesn't make you immune to genjutsu, if anyone can tell me where it says that then I would like to see. So even if Ma and Pa were there to disrupt his chakra, Itachi could just put them in a genjutsu and still win. That isn't even taking into account Tsukuyomi which can't be beaten the normal way, you can't just disrupt your chakra and expect to get out of it, otherwise Kakashi would not have been tortured for days ( or seconds depending on how you look at it). So yeah even if Itachi only used genjutsu it would be like Itachi vs. Oro, genjutsu and ten seconds later Itachi wins.

So Itachi against Jiraiya with genjutsu alone but let's look at his other MS abilities, not even taking into account the rest of his ninjutsu.

Amaterasu- unquenchable black flames that overpower any fire attack Jiraiya could use. (also should be enough for a win)

And of course Susanoo, because Itachi has the Yata mirror his version of Susanoo is literally impenetrable. And he has the Totsuka sword that seals whatever it touches. So yeah if he uses that then Jiraiya 1)can't attack him, and 2) has to constantly dodge to avoid getting sealed for life.


I know Itachi said he would only be able to bring out a stalemate but he probably said that because he actually was a pacifist and cared about Konoha.

First of all, Itachi's genjutsu and MS alone wouldnt be nearly enough yo defeat Jiraiya. Jiraiya although he admits he's terrible at genjustu, he's come up with a way to dispel any genjutsu, which is probably true because he's had more experience than Itachi. (you can't argue with the facts!) Also Itachi said that him and Kisame together wouldn't beat him, it anything, it'd end in a draw with all of them dying. Also if Jiraiya summons any or all 3 of the large toads along with Ma and Pa while in Sage mode, Itachi wouldn't stand a chance even with Amaterasu and Susanoo because Itachi would run out of chakra too quickly for him too keep up Susanoo. Also Amaterasu, MS, and Itachi's speed are nothing because in Jiraiya fight with Pain, he was able to out run all of Pains summonings (which were all obviously fast). We must also account for Jiraiya's age which would decrease his battle prowess when compared to him when he was in his prime.

JMan could not completely enter the sage mode. Hence, Naruto is stronger in sage mode. Sasuke used all the powers of his MS on the Raikage and his speed countered it. Naruto is at par with that speed. Sasuke can't keep up. He is owned. Also, all it takes to hit him even with his amaterasu cloak will be naruto's nine tail cloak. Amaterasu will not burn chakra. Sasuke is owned.



Nope. Genjutsu does not work on Naruto in Rikudo mode. The nine tails chkra will disturb Naruto's chakra system and bring him out. From your argument, since Naruto is not out, Naruto + Jiraiya wins.



Nope. The last Pain caught Naruto in sage mode and drained all the sage mode chakra with the chakra receiver. That was when Hinata came in. Watch the episode again.



Nope, he stands a chance because he is faster and has more chakra. He also has counters for most of Sasuke's abilities and has the elements of surprises working for him. That is why Naruto owns Sasuke.

itachi just keep getting better, hes the best character in naruto, but i think we are going to see his true power against nagato and well know for sure that him and sasuke could beat naruto and jman. sasuke and naruto are equal in power, the only thing that can change is if we see itachi stronger that jman in the next chapter

He has MS sharigan with some of the most pwerful genjustu seen in the whole serious...why wouldn't he use it ? thats like me saying naruto is less skilled than itachi (which he is) because he relies on Rasengan [idiot!!!!] it's their strongest attacks..why wouldn't you rely on your strongest ATTACKS!!!!!

itachi is more skilled than naruto, and yea people depend on their strongest attacks, naruto= rasengan, itachi= genjutsu, sasuke= chidori techs
