Itachi and Naruto

Guys do you remember just before Itachi goes to battle with Sasuke and accepts death... he visits Naruto in a forest and holds him in genjutsu... n forces some of his chakra crows into his mouth and says... " even though this might be enough but i hope the day would never come when you have to use it..."
Does anyone know what that is and why he did that?? it seems like he put some special chakra or ability inside naruto but why? whats the secret behind it? what was or what is Itachi preparing Naruto for??
does anyone knows this or noticed this??

It was the Crow which used Kotoamatsukami on himself... It was meant for Sasuke with the order "Protect Konoha" and was designed when it saw Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan because he hadn't planned on being summoned as an Edo Tensei.
