Itachi and Minato

Why do their fans dislike each other? They haven't even met in the Manga, and I can understand Itachi and Sasuke or Minato and Obito. But why Itachi and Minato?

every fan likes his/her character on top. now in saying that itachi fans thought that he could beat the 4th low dif due to lack of panel time totaly disregarding the story of how strong he was. Now the he has been reintroduced doing mad shit and showing his strengh the fangirls out there are crying.

i am a major itachi fanboy, but even i know that itachi would get raped by edo Minato, with his nine-tails cloak and everything else.

i also believe non-edo that itachi and Minato are equals. that there would be no winner if they fought. because Kishi created them as the figure that drove the two protagonists Naruto and Sasuke

Yeah i can see where you're coming from. Still kinda confusing though.

I think BM Naruto > EMS Sasuke, but that's just my opinion.

Minato was a genius, so was Itachi. Minato is the reason for a good amount of powerups that Naruto has gotten now, Itachi has as well for Sasuke. The fans of both of these characters have identified these parallels and decided to ask themselves " who would win in a fight? ", and so the fapboy wars began.

They create scenarios for Itachi with "1-shots". Then completely deny the way the other person can counter it. For example, they deny that Jiraiya is stronger then him

Minato fans have the habit of puting him in the same league as Edo Madara or Hashirama. Thus leading to more fanboy wars. Both are hurt if someone says their character isn't strong (and their is manga proof to show it also). For example, the current hype "Minato is the second strongest Hokage".. hmm how did he surpass Tobirama? Hiruzen..?


Just combine those 2 and you have the ultimate war. =].

Basically this. Personally i like both characters. I just find it annoying how Itachi fanboys always like to downgrade Minato or everyone who is not Itachi

i'm a fan of both since they are each my fave, but this is what happens when two characters have a large fanbase and have such remarkable feats. To me it makes the base more interesting though
