Itachi is the Batman of the Naruto Universe.
If you don't know what I mean, you've clearly never debated with a Batman fan; Just like Batman, to most Itachi fans Itachi can never be beaten because of some ass-pull victory. When it comes to actual debating, most Itachi fans say things along the lines of "Can't get past Susano'o /thread" and other garbage like that. Do they have actual logic and reasoning behind what they're saying? Of course not. Itachi wins simply because they think he's cool. (Which he is, but that doesn't justify anything).
That's why, in this thread, I've decided to completely break down Itachi as a combatant; The strengths, weaknesses, and anything in between. This should be the ultimate Itachi debunking thread, showing he is not completely invincible and is beaten by multiple people.

Itachi's jutsus are what most fanboys naturally go to when saying how unbeatable he is, whether it be Susano'o, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Fireball Jutsu, and I SWEAR I've seen fanboys overrate shuriken jutsu as well. But, in Itachi's own words, every jutsu has a weakness! And Itachi's are no exception.

Susano'o: Probably Itachi's strongest jutsu. Thanks to the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror, this jutsu has been called "invincible". But is it really? Any true fan of Itachi knows that Itachi has little stamina, thanks to his sickness. (And no, there is no "Healthy" itachi, since we've never seen one). To beat this jutsu, one would only have to outwait Itachi's stamina and chakra. This should be a piece of cake for most (even a little) speedy ninja. As for penetrating the Susano'o, this would be a little more difficult. Yata Mirror has been said to be impenatrable, and I will believe that until I see otherwise. However, this shouldn't be an issue since one could just wait it out.

Amaterasu: This one is relatively easy to counter: Stay hidden! Itachi can't hit you with it if he doesn't know where you're at. Also, this is a one shot jutsu, like most other eye techniques. Sasuke was able to outrun Itachi's Amaterasu gaze, a feat most other worthy-of-mentioning Shinobi could accomplish.

Tsukuyomi: I will cede that if most shinobi are hit by this, there is next to no countering it. However, this genjutsu only leaves you exhausted after it is finished, not dead, which means they still have a chance. The only feesible way to counter this is to be a Perfect J, have a developed sharingan, or have a crazy amount of chakra to disrupt it. If one can fight without looking at their opponent, even better.Fireball Jutsu: I've seen this overated before, where someone stated that Itachi could make it as big and as hot as the sun if he wanted. This isn't overrated too much, so I won't go in depth here. It's a pretty straightforward jutsu.
Shuriken Jutsu: Another jutsu that I've seen overrated once or twice. Some user claimed that you can not outrun or hide from the shuriken jutsu, as they are invisible until they hit and follow you. Wut.
Another straightforward jutsu with a simple counter, dodge!

Some strategies to beat Itachi are out there, believe it or not. Itachi is an amazing strategist, manga fact, but that doesn't mean he can't be strategized AGAINST.
(a) A quick, descisive attack. Itachi is usually slow to getting to things, so a quick shinobi that attacks off the bat should pull a win.
(b) A consistent, overpowered attack. Any shinobi with a powerful jutsu that can be used 2-3 times can beat Itachi, as Susano'o is only tanking one of those and would run out shortly after.
(c) Another master strategist. A perfect example would be Kabuto, who would have wrecked Itachi had he not been Edo'd out.

Believe it or not people, Itachi has WEAKNESSES!
Itachi's sickness should always be taken into account. It's always been a part of his character and greatly lowers his stamina.
Itachi overrates himself and underates his opponents. For instance, if Itachi fought current Naruto, it would go like this: "Every jutsu has a weakness... And this jutsu's weakness... Is m-" "RASENGAN!"
Itachi is half blind. That's enough of a weakness.
Itachi's speed is good in the shinobi world, but not amazing by any means. Any shinobi with above average speed should beat Itachi.
Well that's it for Itachi's breakdown. For now. I might add more if I think of anything else, or if you all have any input. Maybe I might do breakdowns for other characters in the future?...
