Some days it will rain
And other's it will just plain flood
Sure the sun shines through the pain
But some days it rains tears and blood

I wish I knew why all this happens
Why we do he stupid things we do
But for that my glasses may need a new lens
Hell for that not just two but a few

If only the rain was calming once more
And not in sad times a sign
I just want rest and some time to happily snore
While holding you close without any resign

If we could always be right
Then maybe it would rain no more
But I fear that would cause at least one fight
After all pride and jealousy come from that dance floor

Some days it has to rain
Those days make the rest feel so good
Sure it's hard to see the sun through the pain
But it's coming through, just not where you once stood.. ​
